Specializes in placements of government guaranteed financing products for the nation's leading Small Business Administration (SBA) lending organizations including CIT Small Business Lending, US Bank, Comerica Bank, GE Capital, and Temecula Valley Bank.
Since 1987 Chris has conducted outreach to financial leaders, business professionals, real esate professionals, and business owners in their quest to obtain government guaranteed financing while providing expertise in financial and credit analysis for the development of a sound financial package for submission to the SBA for guarantee. The results of Chris' efforts are fundings in excess of $100,000,000.00 with an average investment of $445,000.00.
Chris has also been instrumental in the development of Sales Officer training tools for new and seasoned Business Development Officers which includes analysis worksheets based on SBA and conduit parameters to ensure quick and effective analysis for entities seeking to build, purchase, or refinance conforming and non-conforming credits including but not limited to hotels, car washes, gas stations, restaurants, self-storage, health care and child care facilities.
Chris previously served a dual function as Senior Accountant and Associate Director & Management Consultant for the Minority Business Development Center--An annual contract awarded by the Department of Commerce to the CPA firm of Miranda, Strabala & Associates. Chris directed the efforts of three consultants in their efforts to provide management and technical assistance to minority firms in the areas of accounting, finance, procurement, marketing, and business planning.
Due largely to Chris' untiring efforts, the contract was renewed for four consecutive years with several minority owned and operated firms currently enjoying respectable positions as industry leaders.
An honorably discharged Marine, Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and Accounting from Coe College (IA) and his Masters in Business Administrations (emphasis in financial management) from National University (CA). Chris was a previously licensed Enrolled Agent to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and holds a Certificate in Hotel and Restaurant Management from ILA Polytech Institute, Orange County, California.
